Kremlin: Sanctions make repair time for Nord Stream unpredictable

VLADIVOSTOK, Sep 6 (PRIME) – Sanctions prevent Russia from making any estimates of the time of the Nord Stream gas pipeline repairs, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday when asked whether it is possible that the pipeline will not resume operations at all.

"We cannot say how the repairs will be done, because sanctions are putting barriers," Peskov said.

On September 2, Gazprom said that the Nord Stream pipeline would be unable to resume operations after a three-day maintenance suspension as the only unit that was still working, Trent 60, started leaking oil.
